On 27 September, our project partner CENER 21 took part in the European Researchers’ Night in Sarajevo, an event that gathered curious minds of all ages to explore science and innovation.
At their stand, CENER 21 introduced our Carbon Farming MED project, sparking conversations on how regenerative agriculture and agroforestry can contribute to climate action. Visitors had the chance to learn how these practices help capture CO₂ in the soil, restore ecosystems, improve resource security, and create new opportunities for farmers through carbon credits.
The participation at the event was an excellent opportunity to present the project’s activities in the Mediterranean region — including pilot actions in Spain and Italy, the development of a carbon credit market, and digital tools that will connect farmers, buyers, and policymakers on the road to climate neutrality.
